Finality
Recently there was a loss. I’m not sure if it’s just me but there’s been so much of it lately. So much that doesn’t even seem normal. It’s made me realize how final death is. People can be gone in the blink of an eye and that’s it.
You can prepare and say your goodbyes is you happen to know it’s coming. It’s never enough though. There’s never enough conversations, goodbyes, I love you’s… it’s never enough. You always want to say it just one more time. Just one more hug, one more laugh, one more moment.
Cherish the ones you have while you have them. We don’t have as much time with one another as we believe. Love each other out loud. Be affectionate, kind, and forgiving. Don’t let the only time you say I love you be in the final moments.
